Join us at MWU-AZ Glendale for an interactive and inclusive event designed for children with disabilities and their families.

Event Information

  • 10:00am – 2:00pm MST
  • Glendale Campus, Ramada/Grass area

This inter-professional event will incorporate a variety of student healthcare professionals from the University, including but not limited to: dental, podiatry, nurse anesthesiology, physician assistant, and speech language pathology.

Our goal is to host an event to include the following:

  • Dental, foot, fitness, oral/swallowing, and vital signs screenings
  • Informational resource tables on medication management, motor skills, picky eating, mental health literacy, epilepsy/seizures, and more
  • Outdoor field games and fitness activities with Special Olympics AZ

Additional Information:

This event will be free to attend, but pre-registration is required to accommodate all participants.

The event will be wheelchair accessible, and accommodations will be provided upon request (advance notice for specific needs is suggested!)

  • Age: For children under the age of 18
